Events and Dates  [27 November 2008] Martin Arnott SJ Training, Wednesday evenings.Martin Arnott teaches at Lawmarnock on a fortnightly basis, on Wednesday evenings . Edwina has kindly agreed that Renfrewshire Riding Club may take part in these sessions when there are spaces available. If you would like a lesson, please contact lynne.g@talktalk.net by the preceding Sunday, so that arrangements can be made . If no spaces are available, you will be put on a waiting list for the next session. The next session is due to be held on Wednesday 10th December. The usual format is 30 minutes for £20, however we can be flexible and try to accommodate anyone who wishes a longer session. Contact Details: edwina.c@btinternet.com [24 October 2008] RRC AGM 2008 - 24th Oct 2008Well it's that time of year again when the Renfrewshire Riding Club's AGM is fast approaching. So why not take this opportunity to get together and discuss the future progression of the Club and voice any ideas or concerns you may have. It's your club! And without your support and input we couldn't continue. Never one to miss an opportunity RRC thought it would be nice to combine the AGM with a bit of a social evening, therefore the venue for the meeting will be as last year - Shimla Cottage, Bridge Of Weir. The meeting will commence at 7.00pm sharp. If you would like to stay on after the meeting and enjoy a bit of a get together there is the option of a buffet which has been subsidised by the club and will cost £10.00 per person. A day pass for the park will cost £2.50 per person unless you hold a yearly pass. The park have asked if we can advise of numbers in advance therefore I would appreciate it if you could let us know if you plan on attending no later than Thursday 9th October 08. You will require to bring along with you your Riding Club membership card for insurance purposes. Contact Details: edwina.c@btinternet.com [10 October 2008] Ingliston Grand Slam Team SJ, 10th October '08RRC are looking for members to compete in team SJ at the Ingliston grand Slam on Friday 10th October 2008. Teams of four are required to jump two rounds of showjumps starting at 65cm, second round 75cm and if team on double clear (you can drop a score) there is a jump off with all four members jumping against the clock. Fastest lowest score wins.
RRC teams have had a fantastic day out at previous Grand Slams, with our Junior team winning £500 in April!.

Contact Details: edwina.c@btinternet.com [29 September 2008 - 10 November 2008] Flatwork / Dressage Schooling, Sept - November 08I have new dates for Jill Grant flatwork schooling at Ingliston EC as follows; Monday 29th September 6-9pm Monday 13th October 6-9pm Monday 27th October 6-9pm Monday 10th November 6-9pm Sessions will take the normal format; private 30 minute sessions with warm-up time prior. You should arrive 10/15 minutes before your allocated time to warm up (please no 30 minute warm ups). Please be aware that our booking is for the use of 1 area (half of large arena, or small arena), which means that you may need to share space with next person warming up. It may be possible to use another area for warm up, however Ingliston livery/owners & other lessons could be using the space. If in doubt please ask Jill on arrival. The cost is £25 per person. Please forward separate cheques for each session to me at my home address (below). Please state the date(s) you require along with your preferred time (being as flexible as possible). This is no ordinary showjumping show....being a derby there is around 25 jumps plus the Derby bank.
It is always great fun .
Catering will be provided & late entries taken on the day (at a surcharge of £2).

A Points Championship will run throughout the series. Points will be awarded for 1st -6th places. Highest score from each evening will be carried forward to points total. Separate Championship for horses and ponies. Winners will be announced at the Derby Show on 17th August.

Entries £5 per class for non-members/£4 for members
Depending on entries, horses and ponies may be judged separately.
